Happy Halloween Week!

We are starting off our week in a
GHOSTLY manner!

Emerson was my special helper today!

She is holding our book we read today!

Then we made some cute little ghosts!
On the back, we wrote our letter and
number of the week,
which is H and 8!

We had fun scaring each other with our ghosts!

Cutie pies.

Mrs Yvonne had  a lovely service yesterday.
I shared her program with the kids.
They really enjoyed looking at it.
Her service was beautiful, just like her.
Her life story was very inspirational.
It makes me want to step it up.
Helping, serving, and just being selfless.

Her favorite books to bring were Clifford books.
We will continue to read one every week
in honor of her, as well as a special
lesson on manners.
I will so miss our sweet conversations
after each of her visits.
I will hold each time very close to my heart.

With that being said, I want you to know that every morning,
along with my devotional,
I say a prayer for your child.
I pray for them by name.

A few years ago, I found this PERFECT
Teacher's Prayer that I pray each day as well.
I laminated it and put in in my devotional book.
It reminds me of my duties and why I do what I do.
It reminds me that I need instruction,
just as I give your children instruction.
We are never done learning in any aspect of our life.
I think Mrs Yvonne would agree.
She was 83 years young and learning
wonderful new things every day.

This verse was read at her service
and it made me cry because it fit her to a "T":

She is more precious than rubies.
Nothing you desire can compare with her.
Proverbs 3:15

Preschool Thru my iPhone.

This past month and a half has been quite eventful!

This preschool teacher is one busy chick!
With our new business flourishing and football
and now Kaitlin & Kodee's basketball starting up,
I barely have time to breathe! I think that is the only
way I know how to function, going 90 to nothing!

I have been trying to record some of our days on my phone.

This picture, taken exactly a week ago, is priceless to me,
especially tonight. I literally just found out that Ms Yvonne
is in the hospital. Please lift her up in prayer for her
to get back to her sweet go-gettin' self.

This picture is just precious. I love these boys, oh so much!

We took a little mini walk up the street to the fire hydrant for the letter F.

We caught butterflies....

We are thankful for wonderful picnic- worthy fall days.

These smart TV is a WONDERFUL learning tool.
YouTube has so many great learning tools!

We like to do our handwriting on the concrete.
It's just something different and fun. It doesn't
seem like "work"!

I had to share this sweet puppy my friend Amy
had in her kennel! Gah! So sweet! Its Shasta JR!

I hope your day/week/month has been as glorious
as ours!

We are so blessed.
With Love, Mrs Melea

F is for Frog

I will be the first to admit that I have
not been on my Blogging "A" Game!
I took this weekend to regroup and get organized.
Well, as good as I can with
my crazy hectic life!

This week we are reviewing the letter Ff
and the # 6.

Today, William was my special helper!
Here he is with our cool book we read today:

We then made our very own Frogs!
While making these,
the kids had to
FOLLOW
(f word)
directions.
I would tell them which size and color
of shape to use next and they had to watch me
assemble mine, then do it themselves.
Seems easy,
but these kiddos get ancy and want to
go ahead of me!
We had some frog tongues beside our eyeballs!
Lol!
Following directions and being patient
are two HUGE lessons to be learned
in preschool.

Little activities like this
help them to learn.

Voila!

Since it was rainy and gloomy today,
I got out the scissors, glue, markers, and colored
paper so the kids could make their
very own masterpieces!

They LOVE to do this.
It keeps them happy for awhile,
until we have to clean up
the 50 thousand tiny pieces of paper.
Then it's not so fun!
Lol!

These pretty little girls fixed Mrs Melea's hair this afternoon.
They informed me that I had little white "things" that
wouldn't come out!
I am glad I have an appointment Friday to wash those out!!
hahaha!

My little family has been
BUSY!!!
As usual.
We have been watching Rhett Dawson
and the Jr High Tiger Football Team!
They had a HUGE win against Marshall
last week!
Here is my handsome boy running that football!

And these beautiful girls had their first game of
their 2014- 2015 college season tonight.
They won!
Love my kiddos with all my heart.

And if all that wasn't enough to keep me busy,
My friend Amy and I have been blessed
with wonderful response to our new
business
The Craftsy Chicks.
If you haven't heard of it,
Look us up on Facebook!
We are loving it
and I am really loving meeting new
lovely ladies!

With everything that is going on in my life,
I tend to think there is not enough of me to
go around and not enough hours in the day,
I am assuming I am not the only momma
that feels this way.
Although my babies are older,
they still need me.
I hope they will always "need" me.
I will always need them.
So for you mommas that are feeling my pain
tonight, this is for you:

Cast all your anxiety on Him
because He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
