Lovely Day at Giggles & Grins!

Im so sorry I have been out of
blog land for awhile!

I have been so stinkin' busy!

I wanted to play a little catch up today!

Here are some pictures from earlier last week.
We saw a tree trimming truck outside,
so we had to go see what it was all about!

The kids LOVED it!

While we were watching him cut the trees,
I explained the whole process.
I told them that there would be another guy
with a DIFFERENT truck come to pick up
the cut branches.

Sure enough, a little later, here comes the
other truck! I heard Roper yell,
"MS LEA! THE OTHER MAN IS HERE!"
So we ran out to watch what he was doing !

So fun!

The spring like weather has been so great!
It definitely makes a preschool teacher's job alot easier!
Since it was so pretty, we got the bubbles out!
Lots of fun.

As most of you know,
my daughters, Kaitlin and Kodee, and their basketball
team played in the Regional Tournament
this past week and brought home the 3rd place title!

The tournament was held in Cedarville, AR.
On our way home, we stopped by the natural dam
just outside of Cedarville. It was absolutley beautiful!
I thought I would share some pictures with you!

*************************

Now for our wonderful day today!
The weather has been so nice!
We got outside as soon as we could this morning!
I was snapping a picture of these boys and Cadyn
jumped in last minute with her "bubby".
Sweet kids.

Mr Gavin...

Sweet little princess, Adria!
Golleeee! Can you believe how sweet she is!
That hat!
Adorable.

And the coat! She is always dressed so sweet.

Beckett was digging to China!
This is where a little boy belongs,
in the dirt!

Emma and Grady.
Beautiful and handsome little blondies!
And good kids.
And BFF's!

Pretty girls, Lily and Vivi!

Mr Dane joined them for a picture...

Roper and Tead.
Just about couldn't catch these two for a photo!
They made me work for it!
Love them!

We are learning the letter K this week.
Our menu today was:
Breakfast: Rice Krispies with Apple Juice
Lunch: All beef hot dogs with bun,
Lays Potato Chips
Broccoli with Ranch
Red Grapes
with a glass of milk
Snack: Cheese and Crackers

I will be out some this week due to my daughters
being in the state tournament in Fordyce.
I am so proud of their little team!
Their hard work and dedication has paid off.
If you happen to see one of the
Green Forest Lady Tigers
tell them that you are proud of them
and wish them luck!

I hope your week is wonderful!

P.S. We are missing Kasen and Axton today!

Fun Day!

Kasen had a great idea this morning!
When he got to school, he requested
 that we "just play" today!
So, that is exactly what we did.
Alot of times, I think the best lessons
are learned through play.

Ms Kathy was brave and got
out the colored rice!
The kids went WILD!
They love playing with this stuff!

We had colored rice EVERYWHERE!
But, luckily, it only takes a broom and dustpan
to clean up.
I let the kids pick whatever they wanted to play with.
Lane chose the big Noah's Ark puzzle.
All of my big boys are puzzle lovers.
I think we put together 5 today!

Let me tell you, my bigger boys love
these little handheld games!
They are so good to share them too.
Zak loves it when Lane brings his to share.

90% of the time, this is what you will find Kasen doing!
The train track!
He has built one as big as the room before!
I love his smile in this picture!

This is what you will find in Gavins hands most of the time!

Ms Kathy brought out the basketall goal for Eli and Gavin.
They were scoring like crazy!
We are not opposed to early training
here at Giggles & Grins!
lol

Great shot, Eli!

Sweet boys!

Love having an easy, fun-filled day!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Ms. Yvonne came to visit today!
She had a wonderful book about
important manner words!

We practiced when and how to say "excuse me".
Life lessons are so important.

While Ms Yvonne was hanging out with my kids,
I went upstairs to chill with the little guys!

Here is a couple of sweet girls:

Gavin has been a little puny the past couple of days,
but I believe he was feeling better today!
Look at this sweet face:

I almost didnt get a picture of this handsome
 guy!
He was being camera shy!
I talked him into letting me take his picture
by telling him that I would let him see it,
after I took it.
It worked!

I am so laughing at this picture!
I told Evan to go get his brother so
I could take their picture!
He did just as I asked.....hahaha!
And I noticed they both had 1 shoe off!
lol.
Brotherly love,

Cadyn. Gavin and I:

Gavin was saying CHEESE in everyone of these pictures!

So funny!

At one point I had given up on getting
Eli and Evan's picture together,
so I decided to take Evan's picture alone.
Cute Pie.

Beckett too!
Sweet boy.

Now, I thought I had Eli's picture snapped, along with a
smile, this is how  it turned out!

Cadyn even tried to get his attention...

She was saying ELI! in the sweetest voice!
too cute.
Too bad he COMPLETLEY ignored her!
lol.

This was my last attempt at a good smiling picture of Eli!
lol.

Photographer Fail.

I am missing my kiddos that are puny this week!
I said a little prayer that you feel better!:)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
This is probably my next favorite holiday,
next to Christmas.

I am combining the last few school days into
this one blog since it is all special for
Valentine's Day.

Here are the crafts we worked on last week:

Cute little magnets for the kids' refrigerators!

For some reason, I picked messy crafts this year!
Hudson worked super hard on his for his mommy!

This was the next craft we did:

Messy is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
Kasen was a trooper and gooped his hands all up!

I had to cook up a special glue for this project,
then the kids dunked yarn in it and smooshed it
into a cookie cutter to make the heart shape.

I thought they turned out so cute!
Thanks to Family Fun for the idea!
familyfun.com

This next idea, I found on the other love of my life,
PINTEREST!
Gollee, I love that website.
This says:
Valentine, "THUMB"-body loves you!
The kids painted hearts with their thumbs!

Another messy project..
but Roper didn't mind!

And Gavin was all about it!

My parents are SO creative!
I was smiling from ear to ear when I
saw all the hard work you guys put into
your little ones Valentine's!

I have to brag a little!
Here are Roper's:
It says
"I CEREALsly like you!"
With little cereal boxes!
How cute is that?!

Adria and Grady brought these juice boxes and hershey kisses
that says "A BIG squeeze and a little kiss."
Love it!

Axton's momma worked hard on his Valentines.
I know because I have made these before!
They are melted crayon hearts!
By the way, hers turned out WAY better!
So stinking cute!

Here are all the little guys with their cool Valentine boxes!

Axton with Axton's Valentine Express:

Emma with her beautiful pink box:

Becket with his Toy Story mailbox:

You can tell Zak worked super hard on
his GUITAR!
How awesome!

Brayden with his Transformers mailbox:

Look at Cadyn's sweet Valentine purse.
This is so her!
I love it!

And here is Tead's race car...
You can tell that Cadyn and Tead worked so hard!

Grady was so proud of his Superman mailbox!

And so was Adria of her Tinkerbell mailbox...

Roper REALLY wanted to get
 his picture made with his
cool Valentines.

Now this little cutie pie brought some special Valentine's too!
He was super proud of them!

I hope his momma doesn't care that I creeped her
facebook page and stole her copy!
This is Lane all the way!

Kasen and Zak brought some
SCRUMPTIOUS
goodies for snack time!

Zak's momma made some adorable
cupcakes in mini ice cream cones.
I can't wait to try one!

Kasen's momma made her infamous cupcakes.
I'm not gonna lie...
I said a little prayer to myself that she would bring these.
Good grief.

I always try to make little goody bags for everyone
to take their Valentine surprises home in.
This year I made these:

They say:
"Valentine, you knock my SOCKS off!"

We took turns passing out our Valentine's in them:

Here is a different version
of the goody bags:

I hope everyone is celebrating the people they love today!
I hope everyone is getting some extra love as well.

I wanted to throw in this picture of my little birthday boy.
We had 15 of his close friends at our house this
weekend for a "Monster Energy" themed
birthday party! It was a blast!
I am still exhausted from it though!

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to start
my personal blog back up.
So, I was thinking Rhett's 11th birthday would
be a good place to start. Hopefully by
they weekend I will have it posted
to this website:
