U is for Umbrella...

We made umbrellas today!
How ironic, considering the weather the past few days!
The kids are always ready to paint!

Miss Kathy's class made their own umbrellas!
No paint today-
they practiced their gluing techniques!

I thought they looked great hanging from the ceiling!
What do you think?

Reese made an awesome structure during free time.
He wanted to make sure I captured it with a photo!
Great job, Reese!

The sun DID come out for a split second today!
I saw it! I promise!
Hope your day has been great!
Ours has!

With Love, Miss Melea

*Apologies to Mattie! Her picture didn't upload today!GRRRR! I will make it up to you!:(

An Easter Celebration!

What an awesome day for an Easter Party!
When we party around here,
we do it ALL day!

First of all, I want to thank all of my moms and dads for bringing such awesome treats!
Here is Tead and Cadyn with their adorable cupcakes!
Aren't they awesome?
Great job, Crystal! And Sawyer?!

And thank you to Kasen and his momma for the totally cool
Bunny Cake!
Great job!

We started our day off with some "egg-citing"games!
(haha! Get it? Corny, I know!)

We had egg races!

We laughed so hard when Roper dopped the first egg!

Then we had an egg toss!
Levi NAILED Roper in the head!
HILARIOUS!
We died laughing!

Then Roper had to get his hair washed!
Diet is the word I think of when I see this picture! Puke!
A HUGE thank you to Tead and Cadyn and their parents!
They donated all the eggs for the egg coloring and egg games!

Then we had a WONDERFUL lunch!
Spaghetti, with salad, mixed fruit and bread and butter!
Axton enjoyed it very much!

Gavin had a good lunch too!
He likes lunch time too!

Here's his new "trick" again!
LOVE IT!

Then, during nap, THE EASTER BUNNY CAME!
He left lots and lots of eggs!
The kids had so much fun hunting them!
I think it took about 5 minutes for them to find them all-
it took the Easter Bunny and his helper about an hour to hide them all!

                                                   We had a wonderful day.
But let me tell you, this preschool teacher was exhausted!

I hope your weekend was great, despite the rain!
I hope you remembered to thank our Lord for allowing His son to die for us and our sins so we could live forever with HIM!

With Love, Miss Melea
