Earth Day Field Trip to the Recycle Center

Today is Earth Day!

We started our day off with checking out our  own

trash and recycle bins!

Then watched a video on recycling
and its entire process!
It was pretty cool!

We read a GREAT book on recycling!

Then we were off to our city's Recycle Center!
Let me tell you,
our tour guide was a CUTIE!!
I think I might take him home with me!
Wink.

We even got to meet the MAYOR!
And shake his hand!!

I was so proud of the kids!
They behaved SO well!

It was a fun trip!
They will probably tell you all
kinds of way that you can help
our planet!

In the beginning God created the heavens
and the earth...
God saw all that he had made
and it was very good.

Easter Fun.

Our Easter Party Day.
So fun.
Purple crosses on our faces all day to remind us
of the TRUE meaning of Easter.

Axton brought some adorable rice krispy pops.

Almost 300 eggs!
The Easter Bunny was pooped!

We did some fun activities this week.
This was the kids favorite.
Resurrection eggs.
The kids loved opening each one
and explaining what each egg symbolized.

We read lots of great Easter Books.

We some cute crafts.
(pictures compliments of facebook,
I was under the weather on Monday!)
Cute little bunnies.

Ready to hunt eggs!

I tried to get pictures of everyone,
but they were so fast!
So fun!

Looking at our loot.
They got to pick 2 eggs to open.
The rest was sent home for later.

Easter is a special gift.
Jesus died for YOU AND ME.
For OUR sins.
That is how much He loves us.
Be a part of that.
Take His promise and his gift.
It is free.
I am so thankful for my relationship
with the Lord.
I am SOOOO far from perfect,
and He loves me anyway.

I took Good Friday off. The first time ever.
I enjoyed it so much.
As I browsed Facebook Friday evening,
I loved seeing all my mommas spending
a wonderful day with their kiddos.
That is what it is all about.
It made my heart happy.
Thank you for being so good to me!!

On a side note,
Little William got glasses
and he is SO dapper in them.
Gah! So adorable!

I will leave you with one of my absolute favorite songs.
My Kodee actually sang this song in church several years ago.
For a child to sing this song in their sweet little voice,
it was amazing.
Listen to the words. It says so much.

Our Week In Pictures.

We welcomed Mr.Hayden to Giggles & Grins
this past week! We get to see him every Monday
and any day I have a little one out! We just love
having him! These 3 boys became quick buddies.
He also brought me some beautiful flowers his first day!

We had some beautiful outside days this week!
We did our work and circle time outside!
That was so fun!

ipad work.
The kids look forward to the ipad games.

Dig, dig, dig!

Sidewalk art.

Gavin and his mommy and daddy brought a nice surprise!
A basketball goal!
It is a HUGE hit.
Gavin is obsessed.
And let me tell you, he is a BALLER!
Woot.

Rr was the letter for the week.
We did R Drawings outside.
The kids had to guess what I was drawing.

A house across the street has rabbits in their
back yard. Like 20 of them. We snuck over
and took a peek. R is for Rabbit.

Puzzles and matching games during quiet time....

Goofy kids.

Love these kiddos.

We watched this handsome boy play some
basketball this weekend:

Love it when my girls come home.
Gah.
Makes my heart so full and happy.

Kodee went to prom with one
of her best friends, Austin,
this weekend.
I love this picture!

I hope you all have a great week!

It is God who arms me with strength
and keeps my way secure.
