Picture Perfect Thursday....

We have had a good day today.
Who can complain?
The weather is perfect.
The playground is a little wet- but the kids
minded me and didn't step foot in the water or mud.
I am super proud of them!
They are usually COVERED in mud on a day like today!

We are still reviewing our color brown and oval shape.
I found this neat book at one of the library's end of season
book sale. I love it because it has a copyright of 1969.

It is called Nibbit. It is about a squirrel who was taken in as a pet.
After I read the book, I like to ask questions about it.
That helps with early comprehension.
They answered all of my questions.
They were pretty into the book!

Then we did a simple color sheet of a squirrel.
Like I have said before, I seldom have a child that LOVES to color.
It is a skill they have to learn, so here we go!

They did super today!

This is Lane's! Isn't it GREAT?! And to think a year ago
he HATED coloring!
Great job, Lane!

Everyone else did a great job too!
