Can I TRUST You?

Happy Thursday everyone!

We had a wonderful day today!
Seriously, we did!

Although the past couple of weeks
a litte "hairy" to say the least!

We've had some kiddos deciding not to follow the rules,
so I decided to have a little "refresher course" this morning!

We decided to talk about respecting eachother,

and being good friends.

And one way to be a good friend is being trustworthy.

Do you keep your promises?

We all sometimes promise things and don't follow through.

(fyi- kathy was just to the left for a SPLIT second for the above pictures. We DO NOT
stick our babies on tops of tables and leave them unattended. no worries.
we are professionals. do not try this at home. lol.)

************
We read this book:

to help with the understanding of a promise.

I wanted to get the kids to thinking,
"what could I do to show my parents that they can trust me?"
So, I had them draw me a picture of themselves doing something
helpful. I wanted them to "promise" to do these helpful things.
This is where I need YOUR help.
Help them follow out their promise!

I even showed them how to make easy stick people!

They worked really hard on their promises!

I can't wait to hear how they helped you!

I have a great group of kids that LOVE to help!
Have you ever broken a promise to them?
We all have.
Mostly because we forget.
Not intentionally.
I am going to make an effort to follow
through on my promises!

This is the PROMISE which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
1 John 2:25

With Love,
Ms Melea
