Say! I DO like green eggs and ham!

We are still learning about the color green and the square shape this week.
I say we are "learning" the color green, when the truth is,
they all already know their colors and shapes.

Doing the few weeks of colors and shapes gives me a jumping off point.
It is a theme that keeps me organized!
Plus- its so fun!

This morning we ate GREEN EGGS!
I was afraid the kids wouldn't eat them. That is what has happened in the past.
I taste tested them and they were FABULOUS!

What did you guys think of the GREEN eggs?
Thumbs up?

We then took advantage of the beautiful weather this morning
and had circle time outside!

We read our book
GREEN EGGS AND HAM.

The kids got a kick out of it.
Which I am alot a little animated when I tell stories!

We then had just a simple color sheet.
Well....simple may not be the word.
In the 5 years I have been a preschool teacher, I can only
think of a few children that actually like to color.
It is like an act of congress to do the color sheets!
But it is definitely a MUST in kindergarten!

Then we had some free time to play and play and play!

Mid morning was time for a visitor!
Ms Yvonne came for her weekly visit!
We learned lots of good things about Fall.

Look who ate all their lunch!
Great job Brayden and Zakary!
That is EXACTLY why you have those BIG muscles!

We hope your day was GREAT!

With Love,
Ms Melea
