Whew.
That's one word to sum up this day so far!
Crazy kids are WILD today!
haha!
Oh well-
just means they are having fun, right?
Yes- for those of you who were wondering-
this was a whistle kind of day!
lol.
We started off the day practicing for our program!
The kids did much better today.
They were a little bored with me yesterday.
Then we talked about our letter Y.
(I am hoping to combine Y and Z this week because next week is gonna be CRAZY!)
Y is for Yarn.
We did a little craft that I kinda stole from Kathy.
Thanks Miss Kathy!
Reese made some cool Y's out of his YARN..
So did Levi!
Great Job boys!
The rest decided to do a yarn collage...
After our projects, we went outside!
Boy was it WET!
It is physically impossible for us to keep 14 kids out of the water.
We've tried.
IMPOSSIBLE.
But they sure had fun!
Then it was lunch time!
Gavin was one hungry boy!
He ate all his baby food!
Plus a whole bottle!
This was our lunch today!
Yummy...
It is always so much fun to clean up after a spaghetti lunch.
NOT.
But it is fun to eat!
This is one of the meals that pretty much everyone will eat!
They might be wearing a lot of it afterwards too!
Beware of white shirts on these days!
I give them friendly reminders of their napkins!
I think sometimes they just accidentally....
forget.
lol.
Or they could just use their shirts?
What? What's wrong with that?
Just teasing.
Vivi TOTALLY ignored me when I tried to take a picture!
She is so funny!
Look at this handsome face-
LOVE THAT SMILE!
Grady did great with his spaghetti!
Great job!
Can't wait for tomorrow!
My oldest sister, Tana, is coming to visit us!
She is a preschool teacher at a private christian school near Branson.
She is going to share some ideas and bring some samples of her curriculum!
I cant wait!
I was just thinking about how all the ladies in my family are all in a career that helps children.
My oldest sister, Tana, that I already spoke about, she used to teach at Branson Public Schools before she landed this totally cool job!
My second oldest sister, Tara, is a 2nd grade teacher in Kansas and is currently working toward her Master's Degree for Administration.
And my sister in law (married to my brother; aka Gavin's mommy) is the K-3 counselor who happens to have 2 Master's Degrees!
Wow!
I am proud of my family!
I love you all!
With Love, Miss Melea
