Kindergarten, Here We Come!

WARNING!
Picture Overload!
Today was our kindergarten tour!
All of the kiddos that are attending Kindergarten this fall
were invited to visit "big school"!

Is Kindergarten ready for this group????
LOL!
I don't know!
Our moring began with a book about school.
It was actually about a BIG HAIRY bear and his first day at school.
Bear didnt have a lot of friends and was nervous.
School will be scary at first- but then it will be so EASY and FUN!

Makes me so sad to imagine these guys leaving me:(
We waited patiently for the SCHOOL BUS!
Ehem....patiently not so much...but we were too excited!

The other kids didn't know what in the world was going on!
Here they are just about to strangle each other to look outside!
(No child was harmed in the taking of this picture..
at least I don't think so.lol)

The bus arrived! We loved it!
We were the first ones on!

We sang "The Wheels on the Bus" the whole way!
I'm sure the bus driver LOVED us!

We got to the kindergarten hall and there were LOTS of kids there.
It was a little overwhelming for some-
but they all did so great!

Here we were in line to play on the GIANT computer,
the SMART board.
By the way, I would LOVE one for Christmas....
just sayin'.
just a few thousand dollars.
Could we raise enough money with a garage sale?
kidding.
sort of kidding.
Everyone got a turn!
First up:
Trinity!

Reese:

Levi:

Then Mattie:

Tatum:

And last but not least, Tamika!

We visited the library and on to the computer lab and art class!
Guess who we saw in art?
PAIGE!
She was so shy to talk to us!
We loved seeing her though!

Then to the Alumni Center.
This is where we will have our Graduation Program.
Which, by the way, IS Thursday, June 2nd.
More details later.

We were STARVING after all that.
So we went to JIMS!
Ice Cream and all.
Blurry again- lots of movement.

Lots of  Dr Pepper and sugar later-
we decided to run off some of that energy at the
PARK!

Look at these sweet kids.

We had so much fun!
I am so sad that they will be leaving and going to
BIG SCHOOL.
But, I know its time.
They are all awesome kids.
Im so glad they are a part of my life.

With Love,
Miss Melea
