Our 100th Post!

What an awesome 100th post to have!

This post is in honor of our week of EASTER!

I tried to explain to the kids today that Easter

is all about Jesus.

It is HIS day.

We made crosses to symbolize what Jesus did for us.

He died for us and our sins.

We read a book about the TRUE Easter Story.

And no, I did not sugar coat the Easter Story.

I answered their questions truthfully.

Jesus was not treated nice.

The bad guys put a crown of thorns on his head.

"Did he bleed?", one of the kids asked.

"Yes, he bled", I answered.

His hands were nailed to the cross.

Again, someone asked me if He bled.

Yes, He bled for us and our sins.

After he died, He was put into a guarded tomb,

from which he rose! 

An angel appeared.

Jesus was not in the tomb.

Jesus has RISEN!

He is ALIVE!

How awesome is that?

He lives!

He lives for us.

I couldn't imagine my life with out my faith in God.

Knowing that we have Him to count on.

Knowing that He is with us always and knows our every thought.

Knowing that He loves us unconditionally.

That makes me fell just pretty darn good.

Makes me feel safe.

The Lord knows that I am FAR from perfect.

I am so far from where I should be.

But He still loves ME?!

Awesome.

So cool.

Jesus is cool!

JESUS ROCKS!

(Yeah He does!)

Even though the Easter bunny is so fun.

The candy is delish.

Ehem. Cadbury Creme Eggs. Im talking about you!:)

The whole reason we celebrate is because of Him.
