Happy Birthday, Emma!

As much as I hate to admit it,
I failed as a preschool teacher today.
Miss Emma is turning 5 years old tomorrow.
I knew we were supposed to party TODAY.
I forgot.
Teacher. Fail.
I felt HORRIBLE.

Its a big deal, because I always put
a picture of the birthday boy or girl
with balloons on the front door.
When they get to school,
they are so excited to see their birthday picture
and balloons!

I hope I made it up to Emma.
She got to pick out her birthday picture,
the color of her birthday balloons,
and I even threw her in the car to go
get whatever cupcakes she wanted!
She may or may not have had a pack of strawberry
bubble gum in her pocket when we left, too!

I love you, Emma!
I would NEVER want you to feel left out!

Here are the 3 different cupcakes Emma picked out!
She was so cute trying to decide!

Happy 5th Birthday, Emma!
I love you so much.
You are one of the sweetest
little girls I have ever known.

I will miss you so much when you
go to kindergarten,

Here are some other things we did today:

Roper brought a KITE today!
At least the wind was DEFINITELY blowing!
Roper and I tried REALLY hard to
get that silly kite up in the air.
Fail again.
It was pretty funny watching us try though!
Im sure we entertained the neighbors!
lol.

Emma and Roper helped me with lunch.
We had hot ham and cheese sandwiches!
They were such big helpers!
This morning we read the
Tawny Scrawny Lion
for the letter L.
We also made our own lions!

I thought they turned out so cute!
Great job, guys!

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!
With Love,
Ms Melea
