I had something just pretty awesome happen to me today!
Let me tell you the story...
First off, I have been to the Christian Book Store TWICE this week.
I walked by the children's Christmas display.....TWICE.
The first time I walked by, I picked up every single item.
I wanted every. single. item.
I left with the true Christmas Story on DVD.
What I REALLY wanted was the Little People Nativity Set .....
WITH lights and sounds...mind you.
Forty. Dollars.
Didn't happen.
Needless to say, this kind of thing happens to me alot.
I put it down and left happily with my movie.
The second time I was in the store, I saw it again
and admired it from afar. I got what I needed, and left happily.
My thoughts were "maybe it will be on sale AFTER Christmas.
Or I will make sure and get it for NEXT Christmas."
No big deal.
Guess what Roper walks in with for his Show & Tell today?
Im not kidding!
AND his wonderful momma and grandmomma said we can
borrow it until Christmas!
WOOOOO HOOOOOO!
I cannot tell you how excited I was!
A HUGE THANK YOU
goes out to Lindsay and Marilyn.
I believe that God worked through you today.
At circle time, we sang some Christmas songs and I asked the kids
if they wanted to hear my favorite Christmas song.
Of course they said yes!
I will share that with you guys too:
click on link below.
I have yet to figure out how to post the actual youtube video
where you can watch it from this site.
I will study that and maybe one day I can figure that one out!
Anyway, the kids learned ALL about the birth of Jesus.
They were completely fascinated with it!
You will have to ask them what they know!
**********
Earlier this week this cutie patootie, Zakary,
brought some DELICIOUS chocolate chip
cookies that his mommy made.
I may or may not have eaten 2....or 3 of them!
Thank you for sharing, Zakary!
He even got to pass them out!
One word.
Spaghetti.
We had spaghetti on Thusday.
lol.
But they love it!
You would think that it is Thanksgiving again!
Yummy.
Mmmmmm good.
We hope your week has been great! And an even more wonderful weekend!
With Love,
Ms Melea
