Welcome to Preschool, Fred the Fish!

We had a wonderful surprise this morning!

Kasen and his momma and grandmomma brought a FISH

for the preschool!

We are so excited about our new addition!

First things first,

What is his name?

I googled "Top Pet Fish Names".

I then asked Kasen what letter our new fish's name should start with.

He said F is for FISH!

Smart boy.

So, I went to the Fs and picked 4 that I thought suited our new fish.

It was between Frank, Fred, Fin, and Floyd.

Fin and Fred tied the first vote.

They each had 6 votes.

(? We only had 8 kids??? someone voted more than once;)

Soooooo....we had a tie breaker and FRED won!

Welcome to preschool, Fred the Fish.

(Lane insists on giving him the nickname of J.D. Fred Fish)

We made sure and looked up some other Betta Fish on line

and talked about how we care for our new friend, Fred.

A HUGE thank you to Kasen and his grandparents and parents!

You all are awesome!

I just hope I can keep Fred ALIVE:)

We HAD to read the MOST ADORABLE book I think I have ever seen,

The Big Mouthed Frog.

Misti brought it to share with the kids and they loved it!

It had beautiful pop up pictures on every page.

We then went upstairs to color our own Betta Fish.

I told the kids to imagine if they had their own aquarium

and could have any color fish they wanted.

Look how beautiful Lane's is!

They all did wonderful!

The little guys were having a big time in their room!

sweet boys.

I thought I would get this posted before lunch since it is raining and the kids are playing so well!

Thank God for the rain.

He always knows just what we need.
