Team Work!

This week we are learning about the color white and the octagon shape. These are 2 things that are hard to find good activities for- so we decided to put together puzzles after our circle time. I talked to the kids about team work. Team work at home and team work at school are extremely important! I got to hear lots of stories about your home and what kind of team work you have! It was great!
We then moved on to some writing. I gave the kids instructions and told them to listen carefully. That is one thing that will be super important when they get to kindergarten: LISTENING AND FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS! I wrote on my dry erase board (my pretend paper) and wanted them to copy it. I wrote NAME, WHITE, and OCTAGON. They had to write each of these things on their paper. You wouldn't think it was a hard task- but it is! It is alot harder for them to copy from the board than it is from their paper! They worked so hard.
 I love their dedication.
We could totally learn something from them.
Putting all they have into a simple task.
Isn't that what God wants us to do? Do everything as if we are doing it for Him? Even something so small?
We should all take a moment to watch the wonder and determination on our children's faces.
Their proud faces.

 Their sweet faces.
 Faces of innocence.
 Faces of happiness.

Just happy to be kids. What it would be like to go back to this stress free time in our life. Enjoy them.

With Love, Miss Melea
