Monday and a little Tuesday.

Good Afternoon!
I hope you guys are having a great day!
We are!
I am feeling a bit yucky for some reason.
Sinus or cold or something.
I am hoping I can get a better night's sleep tonight.
I can't chase these kiddos around on 4 hours of sleep!!
No siree.

Yesterday was our first day of learning
our Alphabet.
The letter Aa was introduced.

We had a lengthy story and circle time
discussing and introducing our new letter.
We then did a little writing worksheet.
I promised the kiddos if they
focused on their work and completed
it, I had a BIG surprise for them!

Great Work!
I had to pay up on my surprise!

THE PARK!
Woo hoo!
The weather was great on the walk down.
In another hour it became pretty humid.
We were glad to get back to the air conditioning!
But it was totally worth it!
Check out all our fun:

I want to take the time to thank some pretty special people!
In the last week or two, we have had some pretty great
donations from some extremely thoughtful people!

Misti Plumlee and Debra Deatherage donated a ton of
wonderful books!
It was fun looking through them all!

And Mrs Nancy Smith, our neighbor from the old preschool, showed up with
her trunk full of these beauties:

I am thinking there will be some painting involved when I kick this
yucky cold!!
You guys are AWESOME! Thank you so much for thinking of us!

Today was all about handwriting. I took the kids one at a time
and reviewed with them the letter Aa and the #1.

They do so well when it is just me and them.

The UPS man brought this today! It seems like Christmas!!

Oh, and the hubby and I had a date Saturday night. It was so nice.
I love him. He spoils me rotten and would literally do ANYTHING for me
and our kiddos. Lucky girl.

Lastly, you know, I am assuming I am not the only one that gets so
bombarded with "life" that I put more important things on the back burner.
No more. We, especially mommas, HAVE to take care of ourselves. Not just
our physical bodies, but mentally and emotionally as well. We have to be healthy in
every aspect to be able to care for our families. So, there is some major prioritizing
going on 'round here. This is where it begins:

With all this said, I love how God works. My devotional had this verse on yesterday's page:

To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven;.... a time to break down and a time to build up......a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together,... a time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-6

With Love, Mrs. Melea
