Last week we enjoyed a couple
of days at our City Park.
I just love our little park!
It is perfect for us.
As I sit watching the kids,
I think of how lucky I am
to have this job.
I won't lie.
It is quite a job getting them to the park.
10 of them,
with wandering eyes....
and feet.
But once we are there.
It is lovely.
We normally see some super cool stuff on our trips.
This week we got to see some BIG digging
equipment over by the loop.
They are working on the new ditch project.
The kids LOVED that!
On Friday, we were walking down to the park
just in time to see the trash truck
do it's job on the next street over!
We thought that was so cool!
The men driving the truck recognized
us and honked their horn and flashed their lights.
Made.Our.Day.
It truly is the little things.
Now, you may not have heard about the digging
equipment or the trash truck,
but you very well may have heard
about the...
dead cat.
Yes, there was a dead cat.
On the side of the street.
LOTS of questions.
So funny.
RIP kitty.
Have I mentioned that
I love this place?
Happy Kiddos:
On our walk,
we walk right by one of my bestest
friends houses.
Every fall, her trees in her front yard
turn BEAUTIFUL colors.
Since we are talking about Fall,
we decided to keep an eye on these trees.
Every week we will look at them to see how much
they have changed.
There was already a little bit of red!
We are pretty sure the park will become
an every week thing.
Thursdays and Fridays.
As long as the weather cooperates.
We hope your week is filled with happiness!
For we walk by faith, not by sight...
