Watch Out Kindergarten!

Here comes Giggles & Grins Preschool!

We had an AWESOME morning!
It was our annual Kindergarten Tour!

We got to ride the BIG YELLOW bus to the tour!

We were SO. EXCITED.

Excited is actually an understatement!
lol.

We just couldn't stand it.
But they did admit to being a little nervous too.
Understandably nervous.

Love these kids.

We arrived and saw all the other kids,
so overwhelming!

We toured some classrooms,

ehem.......the teacher wasnt looking with this pic!
lol.

We even toured the big library!

When we visited the computer lab,
we saw some familiar faces!
Some Giggles & Girns Alumni!
Tatum...

And Emma and Gabriel!
It brought tears to my eyes.
I cant believe they are all this big!
Love LOVE them!
What was SO COOL is that
Zak's GRANDMA was the TEACHER!
Holy Cow!

We watched a bit of the PE class.
It looked so fun.

My little graduates.
Sniff. Sniff.

We had to do several pictures, so bear with me...

His name is Lane, but you can call him "G".
That is what he was gonna tell the teacher.
lol.

I loved this warning sign.
My how times have changed.
I think my bus driver smoked WHILE he drove our bus!
haha!

My peeps.

On to Jims for lunch!
mmmmmm.
Its a Giggles & Grins Tradition!

Yummy chicken nuggets and chicken strips, some fries....
and a SODA! Yes, I was brave!

Then we enjoyed our ice cream at the city park!

The park was a blast!

Then, as our wonderful morning came to an end,
we sat underneath a big beautiful tree in the park and
read a great book about kindergarten together.

It was such a neat treat!

This park is super special to me.
I love our little town.
People complain and every once and awhile
you might hear me say something about a bigger city.
The truth is, we have a great little town.
It is a wonderful place to raise a family.
While it does have its issues, all towns do.

I enjoyed watching the kids play on a very special bench:
Joellyn Garrett was one of my very best friends.
 I miss her.
Her family donated this bench in her honor
after she passed away.
So special.

Also, this park was one of my husbands biggest projects
for our town. I know he worked really hard on it,
so it holds a very special place in our family's heart!

So much fun!
Just makes my heart sad to think these little
guys are gonn be in "big" school in just a few short months.

They grow up too fast.

With Love,
Ms Melea
