TGIF.
'nuff said?
We have had a fun filled day!
We read a couple of books:
Slurpy, Burpy Bear
Acorns Everywhere!
We learned a new prayer trick.
My sister, Tana, is a preschool teacher at a Christian school in Hollister.
Last weekend, she taught me a trick that they do in her preschool.
It is called a "Popcorn Prayer".
Each child has a chance to say a small prayer to God and when they are finished they say
"POPCORN!"
This means it is the next child's turn.
They LOVE it!
A couple of the kids were too shy to pray today,
and that is just fine.
You might have to try that with them at home?
I love their little prayers.
Brayden was my special helper and he kept rubbing his eyes during circle time.
I asked him what was wrong and he said the sun was too bright, so I loaned him my shades!
lol.
Fridays are our Show N Tell days!
I even brought a show n tell item!
Rhett found a HUGE green caterpillar in the yard at our house,
so we got a mason jar and poked some holes in it.
Voila! A caterpillar's Super 8!
Almost immediately the caterpillar started making its cocoon!
It is the neatest thing!
And of course, everyone else brought some really cool stuff!
Hudson brought his chaps and bucking bull vest!
Roper brought a really neat spider!
Zakary brought a cool fighter jet!
Lane brought some awesome ammo!
PLEASE NO WORRIES! They were just the shells.
And I put them away as soon as he showed them!
(No children were harmed during this show n tell.)
lol.
Vivi brought her baby doll.
Then it was OUTSIDE FUN!
As a lot of you know, Green Forest's Homecoming is tonight.
I wanted to get a picture of Gavin in his "Future Green Forest Tiger" shirt for his momma. Easier said than done!
GAVIN! LOOK HERE!
Where's Aunt B?
Gavin! Look at the camera! Over here!
Nope. Not gonnna do it.
Finally....
GAVIN! How old are you?
YES! TIGERS ARE #1!!!Woooo Hooo!FYI- Yes, Gavin has pants. He just missed his mouth too many times with his hamburger helper!
We hope you all have a wonderful family filled weekend!
With Love, Ms Melea
