We are continuing our RED week!
This morning we read 2 Clifford the Big RED Dog books.
The kids LOVE Clifford books.
Then we learned another cool Red song.
It's call "The Little Red Wagon".
I learned that song on our mission trip to Memphis last year!
The kids LOVE it too!
Ask them to sing it to you!
We then got to work on our Red Collage.
I gave each child a magazine to look through and hunt for red things.
They were to cut them out and make a pile.
Once they had their pile of red things cut out,
they were supposed to THEN glue them on their paper.
This activity is supposed to not only practice cutting,
which most of them need LOTS of,
it helps them with following directions in order and
the importance of organizing their work.
If you know me- I love things organized.
Which being organized is something I RARELY feel,
but I am constantly working at it.
Here they are working hard on their collages:
Roper.
Kasen.
Grady.
Emma.
Zakary.
Lily.
Brayden.
Tead.
Vivi.
They worked hard!
Ta Da!
I went in to check on the little guys- and this is what I found:
Axton between 2 girls!
lol.
I can so see this when these guys are 16!
I love it!
Gavin.
Ms Adria woke up right after lunch.
The kids had just laid down for nap,
so she had some "belly" time with Brayden.
Brayden is so sweet with the babies!:)
Speaking of lunch, Roper is my special helper today.
One of the special helper's jobs is to help me with lunch.
So Roper put out the forks for me!
Thanks Roper!
We had a yummy first today!
We had homemade pizza, salad with ranch dressing, and tropical fruit!
mmmmmmm.
I hope your day was great!
Ours has been!
Thank the Lord for the rain!
With Love,
Miss Meles
