Since we are learning about our names this week, I thought it would be appropriate to read books about animals or people that had particularly FUNNY names! Today we read about a dog named Widget who pretended to be a cat so that he could fool some fellow felines into accepting him into their home! The kids LOVED it! Here is Tatum holding the book:
We then had to go and find our paper on the table- then we began gluing beans in the shape of our names! We were so STINKIN' fast! Miss Melea was so proud of us! Here is Brayden working super hard on his paper:

After class, we enjoyed some great outside play time! The sandbox is always a big hit! Here is Vivian dumping sand, unfortunately sometimes on her own head!!
Hudson was a little shy when I wanted to take his picture! But right before this he was so proud to show me the "tree" he had planted in the sand!
I think the most favorite spot on the whole playground is the swing set! We even have some "trick riders" here: Genenva and Jossie show us their skills!
We've had such a great day! Tomorrow we will begin working on our projects for the fair! You guys will go crazy when you see the finished project! They are pretty cute if I do say so myself!
