Valentine, You're A HOOT!

  I found the cutest little Valentine Owl and had to use it somehow in our Valentine Goody bags this year! Aren't these adorable? I cut out the shapes and had the kids put the owls together and paste them on their bags. This is what all their treats and Valentines will be going into after the party on Monday! Any kiddos that weren't able to make their bags today will be able to on Monday!:)

For those of you parents that havent been here all week, we will be having a Valentine's Fun Day on Monday! If you want to bring Valentine's- there are 19 kids all together. If you want individual names, you will have to contact me. I printed up a letter earlier this week and it is by the sign in sheet with everyone's names. As far as goodies, I will supply the plates, napkins, and drinks- if you want to bring anything- just let me know! Please do not feel obligated! I know everyone is BUSY!

Do-it-Yourself Breakfast, Snow Cones, Cutting, and a Good Book

The great thing about having a slow day,

 it's more one on one time with everyone!

When the kids arrived at school, they started making their own pancakes.

We were supposed to write K's and L's all over it!

 We also took the time to read some great Valentine Books!

We then enjoyed some spaghetti for lunch and the movie, The Land Before Time, before nap.

We had a great day! We hope yours was the same!

*Please remember that on snow days, we can be short several kids. When this happens, we usually have to review a letter longer than normal to make sure everyone has the same amount of time to learn the letter. I think it is better for a couple of kids to be on the same letter a few extra days, rather than several kids miss the letter all together.

We had a full crew here today!
We haven't had everyone here at one time in a week or two!
We had to remind some of the rules.
It's so crazy how easily the "forget". (haha)

More Snow? Geesh!

I am off to my son's basketball game. It's his birthday! Number 10 to be exact.
Kaitlin and Kodee were supposed to play in West Fork tonight. It was cancelled. Thank goodness! I have only missed one of their games EVER. That was because I was on my honeymoon with an awesome guy! I am gonna cheer on the birthday boy!
