F is for Frog

I will be the first to admit that I have
not been on my Blogging "A" Game!
I took this weekend to regroup and get organized.
Well, as good as I can with
my crazy hectic life!

This week we are reviewing the letter Ff
and the # 6.

Today, William was my special helper!
Here he is with our cool book we read today:

We then made our very own Frogs!
While making these,
the kids had to
FOLLOW
(f word)
directions.
I would tell them which size and color
of shape to use next and they had to watch me
assemble mine, then do it themselves.
Seems easy,
but these kiddos get ancy and want to
go ahead of me!
We had some frog tongues beside our eyeballs!
Lol!
Following directions and being patient
are two HUGE lessons to be learned
in preschool.

Little activities like this
help them to learn.

Voila!

Since it was rainy and gloomy today,
I got out the scissors, glue, markers, and colored
paper so the kids could make their
very own masterpieces!

They LOVE to do this.
It keeps them happy for awhile,
until we have to clean up
the 50 thousand tiny pieces of paper.
Then it's not so fun!
Lol!

These pretty little girls fixed Mrs Melea's hair this afternoon.
They informed me that I had little white "things" that
wouldn't come out!
I am glad I have an appointment Friday to wash those out!!
hahaha!

My little family has been
BUSY!!!
As usual.
We have been watching Rhett Dawson
and the Jr High Tiger Football Team!
They had a HUGE win against Marshall
last week!
Here is my handsome boy running that football!

And these beautiful girls had their first game of
their 2014- 2015 college season tonight.
They won!
Love my kiddos with all my heart.

And if all that wasn't enough to keep me busy,
My friend Amy and I have been blessed
with wonderful response to our new
business
The Craftsy Chicks.
If you haven't heard of it,
Look us up on Facebook!
We are loving it
and I am really loving meeting new
lovely ladies!

With everything that is going on in my life,
I tend to think there is not enough of me to
go around and not enough hours in the day,
I am assuming I am not the only momma
that feels this way.
Although my babies are older,
they still need me.
I hope they will always "need" me.
I will always need them.
So for you mommas that are feeling my pain
tonight, this is for you:

Cast all your anxiety on Him
because He cares for you.

Playing Catch Up.

We have had a pretty wonderful week so far!
My free time has been ZERO this week,
so my blogging has suffered.
I do manage to take pictures
of these sweet guys though!

Monday we introduced the Letter C and #3.

Our morning circle time consisted of
a friendly reminder chat of taking care
of our things. Toys,
books, and even our bodies need to be cared for.
If not, they become broken.
A little chat turned into a story telling marathon.
You can imagine with little ones,
and that is just fine.
I enjoy having those mornings every once
and awhile.
But they have taken our chat and have used it.
That makes me proud.
Putting books on the shelf correctly,
washing their hands,
and even drinking LOTS of water!

The UPS man dropped off a wonderful surprise
on Monday, as well!
My Aunt Donna sent the kids and I
a special box FULL of awesome craft supplies!
How GREAT is that??
I am very blessed with wonderful family!
The kids thought it was Christmas!
Gavin made sure everyone knew that
the box was from HIS Aunt Donna.
Lol.
I already called her,
but I know she reads the blog, as well.
So, THANK YOU AUNT DONNA!
WE LOVE YOU AND CANNOT WAIT
TO USE OUR NEW STUFF!!!!

On Tuesday,
we decided to do some handwriting outside.

The BIG dry erase board is always
a treat for our handwriting days!

Then we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!

Today, we read
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
for the letter C,
and made our very own caterpillars!

Alot of you have asked about my little
girl's trip I went on with a few of my BFF's.
We had a wonderful time.
This was our 4th year to go
and look forward to MANY more.
I am so ready to go back.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will
make your paths straight.

What a week!

What a crazy week!
I feel like I have met myself
coming and going!

Monday, we painted our pumpkins!
We still have 4 kiddos that need to paint theirs!
We will make sure and get theirs done by next week!

I think they had a great time decorating
and making each pumpkin their own.

We had a new treat!
I decided to let the kids play in the finger paint.
I thought this would be a great way to practice
writing their letter Bb and #2!
Plus, I may or may not have picked up
the wrong type of ink for my printer.
This makes it hard to have my worksheets
ready for the kiddos.
I dont think they minded!
Yes, there was paint EVERYWHERE!
That's why preschool is SO fun!

Today, Ms Yvonne came to see us
and we got to have some great time outside
before the rain started.

This will be my last post this week
because I am headed with some of my
girlfriends to the beach!
Woot.
We go every year and love every second.
We do NOTHING.
Something I am not used to!
Enjoy your week!
