A Day (or two) at the Park.

Last week we enjoyed a couple
of days at our City Park.

I just love our little park!
It is perfect for us.

As I sit watching the kids,
I think of how lucky I am
to have this job.

I won't lie.
It is quite a job getting them to the park.
10 of them,
with wandering eyes....
and feet.
But once we are there.
It is lovely.

We normally see some super cool stuff on our trips.
This week we got to see some BIG digging
equipment over by the loop.
They are working on the new ditch project.
The kids LOVED that!

On Friday, we were walking down to the park
just in time to see the trash truck
do it's job on the next street over!
We thought that was so cool!
The men driving the truck recognized
us and honked their horn and flashed their lights.
Made.Our.Day.
It truly is the little things.

Now, you may not have heard about the digging
equipment or the trash truck,
but you very well may have heard
about the...
dead cat.
Yes, there was a dead cat.
On the side of the street.
LOTS of questions.
So funny.
RIP kitty.

Have I mentioned that
I love this place?

Happy Kiddos:

On our walk,
we walk right by one of my bestest
friends houses.
Every fall, her trees in her front yard
turn BEAUTIFUL colors.
Since we are talking about Fall,
we decided to keep an eye on these trees.
Every week we will look at them to see how much
they have changed.
There was already a little bit of red!

We are pretty sure the park will become
an every week thing.
Thursdays and Fridays.
As long as the weather cooperates.

We hope your week is filled with happiness!

For we walk by faith, not by sight...

Leadership Skills.

These girls have got the leadership thing down! I look over and they have all the kiddos sitting down and asking questions! Great job, girls!

This week, we are going over the color black and the trapezoid shape! The kids have been pointing out trapezoids all over the house! Proud of them!

Randomness.

Oh! I am so excited!
I had to break down and get a new phone.
I opted for the new iPhone 5.
Let me tell you, I love it!

I can upload my pictures straight from my phone to this blog!
Yes, that makes me happy.

Here are some pictures to get us caught up:

A little backyard photo sesh.

Dane got to use the "special" silver spoon and was
over the moon happy about it. Which is quite
funny because the only reason we have a "special" silver
spoon is because the colorful plastic ones
keep breaking and we are one short! Lol!

A little group shot.
They all had been so super good that morning!

My favorite football player.
I asked him why didn't he smile....
then I pictured how nerdy he would've looked
with a big goofy grin on his face.
Hello?! He's not 8 anymore.
I have got to get with the program.
Mom probz.
He looks so tough......and sweet.:/

We took a walk to the end of the road
to check out the OCTAGON shaped stop sign.
I could barely get them to stand still.
They love our little adventure walks.

A little work never hurt anyone...

Rhett was entertaining them with some wheelies.

LOTS of coloring outside.
Our new favorite thing to do at free time.

Writing our last names for the first time.
So stinking proud.
We HAVE to send mommies a picture!

Cadyn and Vivi stayed the night with me,
 before Ms Misti's wedding,
We had a blast!

Here are the sweet flower girls and Gavin on the big night:

We've been taking in all of Kaitlin  & Kodee's college
games that we can,
just in case we will have to miss some during season.

The Bud-Man and myself in between games.
Gosh, he is wonderful to me.
Love him.

A nice little sunset in the rear view on our
fast and furious trip to Kansas last week.

My 36th Birthday and I am the shortest one here?
What is wrong with this picture?

Days at the park are glorious.

You can never start handwriting too early.
Look at how perfectly she holds her pencil.
Smart girl.

Fall day picnics...

New name cards.
It's the little things that make a girl happy.
A HUGE thank you to Emmalyn' s momma
for thinking of me!

It was time to pull out the Fall books.
Happy Fall Y'all!

This blogging with iPhone pictures is pretty great,
but isn't as great of quality as the ol' Canon. But oh how
handy it has been!

Thanks for stopping by and getting caught up with me and
my babes!
