Park Days.

Park Days are the BEST days!
Yesterday we took advantage of the beautiful weather.
I thought we better before it actually turned winter on us!

Of course we had to get our school time in before we headed
to the park. So, flashcards and books and a little popsicle puppet
making was done.

Then a lovely walk to the park.
I feel so fortunate to be able to live within walking
distance to the park! The kids do so well walking in their line!

A little photo op before we head to play.

Sweeties.

While they played, I walked around the sidewalk that is around
the play area. They even joined me when I decided to jog a little.

Before we go, we always have to go across the
bridge and see the water...

They even found a G on a bench!!
Good job guys!

We decided to have a picnic since the weather was so gorgeous.

Love them.

Today was handwriting day.

Working away..

:)

Hello Lovelies!
I failed as a blogger the past 2 days.
Yesterday was just a weird day in general,
so I didn't even get a picture snapped.
Boo.

Here are some photos from Monday:

Cutie Pies...

We are learning the letter Gg and the #7 this week,
so "Goosie's Good Idea" was a great book to read!

A little sound recognition worksheet:

We always get a few skittles after class time for fun:

Love them.
Today instead of the usual flash cards we decided to watch
some fun quick learning videos on YouTube.
I LOVE this tool. The kids are always into anything with music.

Fun G and #7 videos!

Then we did all our schoolwork with SHAVING CREAM!
The kids love this as well.
One of the best sensory activities.
The kids had to write and uppercase G and a lowercase g,
along with their name and the #7.
Then I called out letters we have already learned and they had
to write that in their shaving cream.
They really enjoyed that game.

That has been a smidge of our week.
We are enjoying a little sunshine.
Thank you, Lord!
Sunshine is a preschool teacher's best friend!

We had quite the few days in this house.
Starting with Friday afternoon.
My daughter Kodee was in a fender bender in Siloam
at college. Someone ran a stop sign and side swiped her.
Scary moment. She is fine, thank goodness.

We made a quick trip to OKC to watch her play ball Saturday.

Kaitlin headed back to Russellville on Sunday for her last semester
of her Junior year of college. Kodee started back to classes today.

On Monday night, my little guy had a scary fall in his ballgame. He
injured his back and leg while getting a killer block.
Yet another scary momma moment. He is recouping, but it will be
awhile before he is back to normal. He promised he would NEVER
do that again!! Sigh.

By the way, I think it is a momma's right to brag on her kids.
With that being said, I have some REALLY good lookin' kids.
Whew. What is even better is their hearts are just as beautiful.

Most of all let love guide your life.

Happy Thursday!

Good afternoon!

I am recapping Wednesday and Thursday!

Yesterday was a fun day!
We tore out the PLAYDOUGH!
You would have thought it was Christmas morning!

Play dough is probably one of the best activities to build
fine motor development. It strengthens all the tiny hand
muscles and tendons that are needed for holding a pencil
and using scissors.

I love to watch the different ways they play with it.
The girls were making cookies and things to "eat"
while the boys were "chopping" and "cutting".

Most Thursdays and Fridays, I devote to one on one time with each child.
We do our alphabet and number flashcards and do individual handwriting.

Whew!
We all worked hard today!

During Gavin's one on one time, I had him sound out his
"f" words. He didn't even stutter. He read them like they were
nothing! I knew he was on his way to reading easily, but today
he confirmed it! This doesn't mean he can go read Shakespeare
or anything, but he is definitely reading LOTS of words!
Super proud of him! Way to go!

These flash cards are out where the kids can get them during
free time. They are very popular! I was given these a few years
back from a sweet preschooler and his momma, Roper and Lindsay
Turner. I absolutely love them! The kids play "Mrs Melea" a lot
during free time.

A couple of good books for the letter "F"....

Then we went on an "F" hunt. Since our last name is Fry,
we have lots of F's in our house. The kids found each of them.
We headed down the hallway and found these in Rhett's room!
F is for FISH! Although they were more impressed with
Spongebob and Squidward's houses than the actual fish!! haha!

Love these sweet kiddos. We missed Sarah today!

I came across this pin on Pinterest and loved it.
I thought I would share.
Who knows, maybe one of you needed it today?
