A Little Rice Never Hurt Anyone..

This is Thursday's post that I apparently never published.

oops.

We had a wonderful spread of rainfall yesterday morning!

Thank the Lord!

So we had to find something to get into while it was raining!

Miss Misti had a great idea to get the colored rice out

to pour and sift and pour to our little hearts content!

These boys didn't want to play with the rice.

They are "too big".

Apparently! Look at those muscles!

And yes, there was rice everywhere.

I wanted to brag on my girls a little!

They participated in the Elite Individual Camp

at Southwest Baptist University the past 2 days

and this is what they brought home:

Pretty proud of them.

They are such good girls!

I think this little guy is going to lose his

eyesight from so much xbox!

Don't worry,

Only AFTER he does his chores

and shoots a few hoops!

Love my little family!

Summer Lovin'

Happy Summer!

We did a little swimming today.

It always makes the morning go by fast!

This was snapped after clean up and popsicles!

I gor a sweet surprise this morning!

I was told the flower shop tried to get ahold of me

on Saturday, but I'm not sure where

I was on Saturday!

lol.

I was told I was in my bed most of the day.

I will take their word for it!

But this SO helped me feel better today,

so, THANK YOU

Tayleigh and Hudson for the sweet

and thoughtful act of kindness!

Made my day!

This, too, was a sweet surprise last week right after

my surgery. Made me smile.

God took care of me again.

We had fun painting today!

Sweet girls.

It's like they've been here all along! 

Gavin was pretty smitten as well! 

With new kids,

that always means someone has left.

I had to say goodbye to 3 little ones.

NOT.FUN.

I had to say good bye to Ms Emma,

Mr. Zakary,

 And Mr Brayden.

Ms Lily said good bye several weeks ago.

I miss them all.

I know they will do wonderful in kindergarten!

So, what else has been going on?

Our last big thing before summer is always graduation.

What a great program this year!

We had 20 kids that performed and 5 kiddos graduating.

I hate that every year I am so busy that I never get pictures.

I am so thankful for you mommas that took pictures

and shared with me on facebook or printed off for me!

I was THRILLED that we had approximately

120 people there! I was so excited!

Also, a big THANK YOU to those of you who

helped clean afterward!

Our fundraiser was a HUGE success!

I still have a few small purchases to make-

but we are loving our new toys!

Thank you to those that participated! 

 We are LOVING our new sprinkler and the summer weather!

Speaking of summer,

my little family is trying really hard to

enjoy our summer!

This picture is missing my sweet Kaitlin.

She opted for a day at Silver Dollar City

with her friend instead of the lake with us.

Turd.

I have been doing alot of this

the past 3 weeks.

In the car.

Since I got a new phone

with an awesome camera, it

equals stupid pics of yourself

and my new fascination

with Instagram. 

 My latest endeavor:

the emergency room Monday night.

Boo.

These next 2 pics are a product of me

and morphine and HOURS of waiting.

Midnight to 5am of waiting to be exact.

 Poor Buddy.

I was comfy.

He was not.

I had morphine.

He had none.

Which means 5 hours in this chair

is TRUE LOVE.

Love him. 

By the way, it is my gall bladder.

More tests tomorrow.

Not sure what they will do,

but all I know is I thought I was dying.
