Not Your Ordinary Fire Inspection

It was time for my annual fire inspection.

First thing this morning,

like 8am,

Mr Ed Phillips pulls into the preschool.

Normally he comes in and does his routine

check and paperwork, but today he was FULL of surprises!

(side note: Eli is on top of the car because he CRIED to

go to Mr Phillips! Kept reaching his arms up to him! Lol.

It was too cute.)

First of all, I explained who he was and what he does.

Then, he started asking the kids about fire safety.

I was so stoked when they answered all the questions right!

The DO listen! lol!

He asked if the kids wanted to see his flashing lights...

Ummmm.......YES PLEASE!

Then he talked to us about the importance of 911.

You dont call to "chat",

it is only for an emergency.

Then, you will NEVER guess what he pulled out of his

car!!!! FIREMAN HATS!

Not even kidding.

One for each child!

They were so excited!

So excited that I could barely get a picture!

I hated that some of the kids weren't there yet.

:(

We made sure they got a hat, though!

Thanks for the cool unexpected surprise, Mr Ed!

It made our day!

Just Another Manic.....Week!:)

Wowza!

What. A. Day.

I want to first apologize for the epic

Preschool Teacher Who Blogs FAIL

on Monday.

I really try to count pictures and make sure I get

everyone on the blog at least once, every time I blog,

but  failed to do so Monday.

In order to try and make up for my shortcoming,

I scheduled a photo shoot with Mr Tead.

I.Love.This.Kid.

He is so sweet with a huge heart.

This picture makes me laugh because Gavin

heard me say "SAY CHEESE!" so he immediately

ran into the picture and said "CHEESE".

Tead put his arm around him and his little sis DID NOT like that!

Nope. Not one bit.

Can you tell?

She said "my bubby".

Early this morning I could tell it was gonna be

a "ship the kids outside kinda day".

Boy was I right!

They were needing to let off some MAJOR energy.

We got our handwriting done and out we went.

us to wear to work.

We have some cool new toys on our wish list!

Another Sunshiny Day!

Another BEAUTIFUL day!

I am so thankful for this sunshine.

Definitely a blessing!

We are continuing to learn about the letter N.

Today we worked on a collage of NOSES!

lol.

I thought it would be fun to see what kind

of noses they could find in magazines.

It is also a great way to practice out cutting skills.

Cutting is a challenge for little guys.

We had to find the perfect noses...

And carefully cut them out.

There were big and small noses!

And even DOG noses! Lol.

We acted silly and had fun looking at the different pictures..

It was funny,

while I watched some of them cut their noses out,

They would cut right through the middle of the nose...

I thought to myself,

" I wonder if they will be a plastic surgeon one day",

and if so, I might think twice about going to them!

lol.

We didn't make too bad of a mess....

Nah, it cleans right up!:)

Where was this weather LAST week???

Grrr.

But  am so THANKFUL that we have

some beautiful sunshine this week!

We are learning the letter Nn this week.

We started out with some cool books:

Then we did a little sound recogniton worksheet.

Alot of our learning is during circle time,

we visit about  our letters and other things going on.

Then of course, it was OUTSIDE TIME!

William, who is FAST AS LIGHTENING,

And Ms Emma were hanging out today!

 William is our newest and he is doing great!

He has a case of the "mommies" when he gets dropped

off in the morning, but he quickly gets over it.

He is so fast that I can barely get a picture of him!

Emma was being a good friend to him today.

The dirtier they are when they go home,

just give us a heads up and we will tidy them up!

After play time, it was LUNCH!

One word: PICNIC.
