Glad to be back!

Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!

We are super glad to be back to these beautiful faces......

Can you believe it's Christmas time? Put up the Preschool Christmas tree, all adorned with homemade ornaments and streamers as garland! And those are old mat covers for the tree skirt!

 We are learning about the letter C this week and the # 3! Help your child practice this week!

Yay for Tuesday!

We have had a WONDERFUL day!

Here is my handsome special helper, Mr. Brayden! He is holding the Thanksgiving book we read. We learned all about the first Thanksgiving! Ask them about it! They know their stuff!

 We made Thankful Turkeys....because that's what we are....TURKEYS!!:)

 We are so thankful for our blessings......

We are so THANKFUL for you and thankful for allowing us to be a part of you and your baby.

Remember that we will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.
Class pictures tomorrow at 9am.
Do you want to be in the Christmas Parade? If we don't have enough people attending- we probably won't do a float this year.....

Bb is for BUTTERFLY!

We have spent the morning learning about butterflies!

Here is my awesome, totally COOL special helper, Mr. Lane holding our book we read this morning!

 We colored learning cards about the life cycle of a butterfly- and we also painted some really cool butterflies!

Aren't they beautiful?

 Gavin wasn't too enthused with the whole "life of a butterfly thing"......

 I heard some cackling upstairs, so I went up to see what was so funny. This is what I found:

Bb is for BABY! Welcome Gavin Daley Tharp!

What a wonderful week it has been! The greatest blessing I have had this week is getting to hang out with this guy:

Isn't he precious?! This is my new little handsome nephew, Gavin Daley! We have had to adjust to new routines, him and I, both. But I believe we are going to do just fine! The kids just absolutely LOVE him! By the way, if you see his momma, give her a big hug! She sure is having a hard time leaving him! We all understand that!:)

Today has been a great day! The little ones were enjoying some free time......

 I love Vivi's face in this picture! Roper is such a little ham!

Kasen was working on his horse. It was broken....

 Grady was working so hard! He was running his train through the automatic car wash!

 Cadyn was chillin' out!

 My kids were enjoying some dress up time after Ms Yvonne came to visit for our weekly Manners Class!

 This week, we are learning about the letter Bb and the # 2. These are some of the books we've been reading: Barfburger Baby......

 Bear's First Winter........

 We played with the BALLS! We BOUNCED and BOPPED them BACK and forth to our BUDDIES!

 And even played some BASKETBALL!

Our sight word for this week is "be". Appropriate, huh?! If you and your kids are out and about- have them point out the letters and sight words!

Super Proud Thursday!

Here is my wonderful Special Helper, Reese, with our book of the day:

 Let me tell you- I am one PROUD preschool teacher this morning! This is why:

 My kids were READING this morning! WOOO HOOOO! I was so proud of them!

 I ordered a new reading game where we build words with cards and the kids were doing AWESOME! They sounded out each letter and put them to together to make words! I am so proud! Brayden even found our sight word, "at" in the cards! He made sure I saw what he had found! GREAT JOB!

 Miss Kathy and her kiddos looked through books finding things that start with the letter Aa!

Love my job. So very blessed.

What in the World Did You do Today?

happy Tuesday everyone!

This beautiful little girl is my extra special helper today! Miss Tatum is holding the book we read. It was all about the letter Aa!!

After circle time and story time, I sat the kids down to practice on our handwriting. Let me tell you, these kids are awesome at their handwriting!

 While the kids were working on their handwriting papers, I ran upstairs to see what the little ones were doing. This is what I found:

After our school work- we went outside to monitor the leaves again and look at what happened!!! It's RED!

 AND YELLOW! WHOA! AWESOME!
